It is also not appropriate for people who have histories of adverse reactions from neuromodulators. If this is not the right option for you, we may recommend our skin tightening treatment or other option.
How is Wrinkle Treatment Performed?
Botox® and Dysport® contain the same active ingredient that temporarily relaxes certain muscles of the face. Our provider deposits the product in the skin with a very small needle. You may notice some tenderness, swelling, and mild bleeding at each injection site. The provider will make several injections in the muscles to consistently relax them. You may need some time to adjust to the sensation of having relaxed muscles that are not as easy to use for facial expressions.
When Will I See Results from Wrinkle Treatment?
You see results right away with our wrinkle treatment. It may take three to seven days for the active ingredient in Botox® and Dysport® to completely relax the muscles, and it may take some time for the wrinkles to fade.
How Long Do the Results of Wrinkle Treatment Last?
Our wrinkle treatment gives you four to six months of anti-aging benefits. We will schedule appointments for maintenance treatments approximately four months after your first injections. In most cases, the secondary treatments are less extensive than the first treatment.
